Hi, well for $220.oo you got a good deal on a nice SLE. As far as the value after a refinish, who knows? I guess that it would be up to the buyer and the market at the time. But 1k does not sound unreasonable.
The 210 Model was one of the lower end SL guns made by UA. I'm not talking quality of materials, but in terms of finish and engraving. The guns produced by UA are very good guns. They at one time produced several BL and 8 SL models (209, 210, 211, 213, 215, 216, 217 and 219). UA later became Grulla in 1983. They dropped several of the SL models and all of the BL models. They started to make only higher end guns and continue to do so today.
