Joe is remembering correctly. It was Don Brown, of Oregon I believe. I corresponded with him for awhile, back when I was shooting m/l rifles a lot. He was very big on the Forsyth principle of using a large bore, round ball. He really liked .62 caliber as I recall, but shot some of even larger bore. Biggest rifle I have is a .54 I built in '83.
