I don't believe this is a $1,500 gun. It looks like a pre war model, that of course needs to be verified with date code marks, but this gun is a better gun than a Model 200E from 1986. I would think double that price at least if it is pre war and in good condition. There should be date codes stamped on the flat areas of the breech end of the barrels, january 1936 would look like 136, etc.

No codes on the breech of the barrels. anywhere else I should be looking? I can provide pics if needded,.. I belive this to be at least pre 68 as I cannot find a serial number. I'd give the O/A condition a solid 80% NRA. Some slight handling ware on the receiver, and a small unrepaired spinter in the buttstock. And the add on recoil pad professionally done it appears
