Thanks for all the help on the above gun. It was purchased and should be back out in the field before long. The only thing I didn't get a definitive answer on was the maker. Can anyone tell me with certainty if it was someone other than Janssen Freres?
Now I am trying to get some information on another Belgian gun. There are a couple of marks that I don't recognize from the list at Damascus-Barrels.com. The mark closest to the breech on each barrel looks like either a crown (or an early 20th century baseball glove without the thumb) over a "D". Both the barrel flats and water table have a "7" and also "FAUL". Is that last one the maker's mark?
