With all due respect, I will humbly counter that gun registration is a TERRIBLE thing, anywhere and everywhere. If, neither you, nor the Americans traveling, were criminals, there is simply no reason for any police, or state, or country interest in any firearms, or, for that matter, anything else you are in possession of.
Please go back and read that again. Please note the ASSUMPTION that you are NOT a criminal. Once that point is taken, what is the further interest, by any police establishment, in one?
No free man should EVER be questioned about his movements, intents, or possessions.
