I don't believe this is a $1,500 gun. It looks like a pre war model, that of course needs to be verified with date code marks, but this gun is a better gun than a Model 200E from 1986. I would think double that price at least if it is pre war and in good condition. There should be date codes stamped on the flat areas of the breech end of the barrels, january 1936 would look like 136, etc.
