Art's Gun and Sport (www.artsgunshop.com) in Hillsboro, MO refinished a Classic Doubles 101 (successor to Winchester for importing and selling the 101 shotguns) last year for me.
The gun was well used and had rust freckles, was a little loose, and had well worn wood and finish. The gun came back from Art's looking absolutley spectacular! Art tightened the action, reblued the metal, recut the checkering, and refinished the wood. I would bet my gun looks better after Art's refinish than it did brand new. Art had the gun about 9 months.
I wouldn't hesitate to use Art's refinishing service again.
