Wards target gun is reviewed in detail in G. Boothroyds book. Shotguns and Gunsmiths, pages 46-49. The main difference in grades appears to be;the amount of engraving , the way the fences are shaped and on the best grade there is a curved back on the action rather than straight.In short the differences appear to be cosmetic.
