Grin of salt boys!
I've been busy with real-life not the virtual stuff since Thursday and I only have a few minutes to scribble this down before I’m out the door again…
I had to pick up the head munchkin from college on Thursday (7 hours of drive time!)…back just in time to see my sons Lacrosse game that eve (I was tired!). Saturday was at a 50th wedding anniversary for my aunt an uncle who are pretty cool people (3 hour drive time) ....I had to escort my mom and my aunt who are both widows, not in great shape and just a tad nutty (yet loveable). They were happy for my uncle who happens to be my mother’s twin brother but you could tell they were a bit sad too.
Today; I get to be the fill in coach for my daughter’s basketball league. While my wife is taking my son to visit a friend’s dad in the hospital then she has to take the oldest to get some new duds for the great summer job she landed. My other boy is being dropped off to play in the marching band competition/parade in Henrietta which we are forced to miss….I was supposed to be the grill master until the B-ball thing came up.
Needles to say with all this going on I really can’t elevate the HJ thing to any priority level. Let’s face it he’s pretty set in his ways and nothing I could possibly do will change that. I also believe he should be able to express him self freely on the BBS as you all have the option of NOT reading his posts. If he crosses MY line I will reprimand him and then if he does it again I’ll shut him off for a week like before.
The funny part is that often I do find him both annoying and entertaining concurrently. I also allow him the latitude I would give any of you so if nothing else you should be happy to speak your mind on the BBS....
