I purchased the gun through another friend of mine. I'm sure he knew nothing about the holes but I will mention it to him. He let me inspect it as long as I wanted to. He just picked up a Win. Model 21 he want to sell me. Maybe he will make me a deal on that one.
I may be looking for some full length sub-gauge tubes if I can find a good set at a fair price. I found some brass ones in 16 gauge but they are pretty heavy.
