The one I use to have was a plain-Jane double trigger slim forearm Field Grade 500167, which according to Walter's table of serial numbers would be 1933. However, it was a late-style Field Grade with the border engraving and no cocking indicators, which first appears in Ithaca catalogue No. 54, circa 1935. Mine tipped the scales at 11 pounds 3.9 ounces.

Your gun looks to be a great example of a Grade 2E. Looks like the non-selective single trigger? To my eye that beavertail forearm wood doesn't appear to be original Ithaca. Apparently the Ithaca "bridge trestle" recoil pad wasn't large enough for the Magnum stocks, and I've usually seen them with either a seven-slot Jostam Anti-Flinch or a Hawkins pad. A decade or two ago I just missed a great, very late, Grade 2 Magnun-Ten with a straight grip at Randy Shuman's.

The original Magnum-Ten, serial number 500000, built for Chas. Askins Sr., but made famous by Elmer Keith, had quite a load of options, but not a beavertail.
