An excellent price--esp with Q1-Q2 barrels.

Agree on the price thing. Excellent deal for an original 20/16 set. I prefer DT's on a Repro (or anything else, for that matter). Most of the ST problems are minor--but occasionally not.

PJ, all of us but one missed out on the smallbore ASEL to end all smallbore ASELs a few weeks ago right here. I wonder who owns that one now?

Sounds about as cheap as these get from a dealer. The SST chatter is pretty much about personal preferences. I shoot both single and double trigger guns all the time. I like both. For a quail gun, I find the single trigger an advantage, your mileage may vary. For big slow pheasants, double triggers are fine for me.

I wish I could see the fight that will go on an Ivory beads, what with 10 of you guys clawing and kicking at each other to get your hands on the steal of the century.

Greg, I learned long ago, that I can find more good deals than I can find money. I just have to keep reminding myself of that.

My wife has this method, whenever I mention what a good deal there is on gunx, She shows me a picture of a real steal deal on another horse...You gonna swing by this fall, on your way up or down, Chuck?

Tell your wife to remember that the "steal deal horse" will die and cost more money along the way. whereas, the "good deal gun" will not die and will gain in value along the way.

Yes, but you can't make a Parker into glue.

And the Parker doesn't eat hay and crap either . . . but you can't ride one.
