It has a single trigger and ejectors and english stock.

Are any of yours ejector guns? Do you plan to shoot them?

Thanks

The Leader, appears to have fluid steel barrels. It makes me wonder if they are original to the gun. Are they ser. no. to the gun? The ser. no. posted would be for a very early Leader and I would suspect that ser. no. range would have been twist barrels, according to my scources. Anyhow, very nice set of Bakers. I have a Paragon(no. 297) myself that is in need of more attention, but it is still the high water mark of my meager collection, though it is not the Baker I have that is in the best condition. Someday I will get it there. In this current market, I am not sure how to place value guns. I would love to see the wood on all three of these guns if you can post them. I just love Baker eye candy. Bakers are still my favorite. Ever since Chris Schotz put me on to a very nice "A" grade, that the fever started.

Hello All
Yes, my Paragons barrels are damascus and I have wimpped out and fitted Briley 20 and 28 gauge tubes for it.
I can shoot both smokeless factory and reloads in 20 and 28 in it.

Just never saw fluid steel on that early of a Leader. All the guns are outstanding, but that 28" barreled Paragon should be at my house. Wow, what can I say about the wood and the engraving. The 30" is very nice, but like you said, the wood is not of the figure of the 28" barrel.

Thanks so much for the Baker eye candy.

1 pound 3 oz. difference for two inches of barrel? That wood must be super dense on the 30" gun

I took the butt plate off and the stock has been hollowed out some. It still balances just in frount of the hinge pin.

A question for the Baker experts... in Re: skeetx' Paragon: Is this gun engraved or etched?
