Ah, on page 25 an article about George McAlpin.

The American Field, January 26, 1901 – “Captain Money, though but partially recovered from the assault inflicted on him while in his private office by George McAlpin a month ago, is progressing as well as the serious nature of his wound will allow. The malar bone on the left side of his face was fractured and causes him considerable pain and inconvenience as it slowly knits.”

I'm surprised you didn't know about LA84 Drew. I think it was Lawyer Kaas put me onto it years ago. You do know about the New York Times archive? I've gotten lots of my Capt. Albert W. Money, Noel E. Money and Harold B. Money info there.

Great stuff all. Found this in the NY Times archives

July 3, 1900 The previous day Henry T. Folsom was examining a pile of second hand revolvers, picked up a .38 and pulled the trigger shooting and killing a 22 year employee/salesman of Folsom Co. named Peter Koller. Henry was arrested but the shooting was determined to have been an accident. His lawyer was a Von Longerke.

Dan Lefever, of the Lefever Arms Co., Syracuse, N. ¥., was showing a sample of single-trigger, hammeriess gun. The
mechanical construction is certainly the strongest, simplest and surest in action of any single-trigger gun we have ever seen.
