I had 12ga 28" 201e from early 50s. The thing came in at 6&1/4lbs I certainly would not have used hot loads, buck, or slugs in it.
It produced nice evenly distributed patterns with Gamebore traditional (felt wad) loads of English 7s. Its' time to buy some shells and use that thing. I would not bother loading some ole' fart loads for it as it's bothersome and boring activity. English do load traditional shells and modern ones with biodegradable plastic cups but where to find them in US and at what dreadful cost?
