The maufacturer asked customers to send a bolt sleeve and a complete striker. They were also made for Rem 30 and fitted to the special B&M sporter made on that action which had a stock shape that presaged the NRA/Whelen style that Remingon later adopted. This model probably also would fit 1917, not sure. Sight may also have been made for 1903. If someone has a B&M catalog maybe they could check. Bolt sleeve sights do not move forward with striker.
