The only mark I could see that might indicate the date of mfg. is on the right barrel just in front of the flat, there is a 6/31.
Is this a Prussian gun or what model? Someone mentioned a 'round top'. As can be seen in the pics, it has the crossbolt and what looks like a round top. It has working ejectors; the seller said extractors. The blue on the barrels is just starting to get a little thin from the front of the forend to the breech. Checkering is deep and perfect. No marks on the forend. A few very light marks on the butt stock. Also has the original butt plate, I think.
According to my measurements it is choked .017 and .027; balance beam scale says 5 lb 11 oz.
Anyone venture a guess at the value?
