Mike's barrels are indeed "Stars and Stripes", also called "American Flag" or "American Flag Bunting", "Washington N 3. B.P." by Remington, and Ferlacher Austria. This is Ross Berck's Spencer Gun Co. and a 1888 Parker Grade 2 Toplever Hammergun Similar patterns have been found on Ithaca Lewis Grade 4, Ithaca Flues 1 1/2 Grade, Remington 1894 C grade, and Hollenbeck Gun Co. drilling barrels. "Stars and Stripes" is NOT "Etoile" or what Remington called "Etoile 3 B.P."
