I'd say they are a value. I think most are Sauer sourced frames with either the Swedish steel, which was held in high regard, furnished to a Suhl or Zella-Mehlis tube maker or the tubes made in Sweden. Swedish Mausers are another example where the Swedish steel was provided for tube material.

I agree with postoak in that why attempt to convert them when the correct cartridges are available and anything else will more than likely shorten the product life. Also the more folks that shoot 65mm cartridges, the more plentiful they will become.
