I have an 1800's side by side 16g with very nice engravings in silver. Pictures can be sent by request. I have found very little information although, I have had an email from a very knowledgable source in Germany who has written books on old German gunmakers. He said this company existed in the mid 1800's and was sold to Gerbruder Merkel.
The gunmaker was Johann Gottfried Funk and his factory was setup between 1860 and 1870 according to my source Dr. Hans Fritze.
Any additional information would be greatly appreciated, and I am interested in selling the gun to an interested party.
