The question ... "is Mr. Lander breaking any laws?" poses some interesting areas to explore. First, in the ethical sense at least, it is accepted on this BB that he is posing as something he is clearly not when he states he is a "Master Gunsmith". To be a "Master Gunsmith" Mr. Lander would have to be recognized as a member of the Gun Makers Guild and sponsored by a voting Guild member ... it's rather doubtful Mr. Ed qualifies.
It appears he may also be guilty of deceptive advertising practices when he states that he is responsible for a "recent restoration", as the very term means to "return an item back to its original, normal or unimpaired condition". It's obvious Ed "the torch" Lander's work could only be termed a customized abortion by a Master Trailer Park Hack whose previous work could only be seen in the local auto chop shop.
Finally, he is promoting all of his sales as non-negotiable since he is acting as consignee on behalf of another party, the consignor, thereby separating himself from ownership. If, in fact, Ed Lander is owner and not consignor, then he's guilty of false pretense and false advertising {:> bordering on world wide cyberspace fraud & interstate mail fraud.
Perhaps someone could at least file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and brand him as a torch wielding terrorist capable of doing more damage to the gun collecting world than all the laws and anti-gun groups put together.
Gentleman, this torch wielding insanity must be stopped. I will do my part by writing a letter to Santa Claus informing him that Ed has been naughty and not nice in the hope that Ed will not find more propane tanks in his stocking this Christmas.
Happy Holidays
