OP Katie and Jessie Sidelock Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 572 Texas	I am finishing a stock for a friend and the rosewood insert in the forend will not take finish in places. I am assuming there is oil in the wood. Does anyone have suggestions or experiences with this. I thought about soaking the forend in acetone. Any help would be really appreciated. Thank you, Gordon Our Dogs make our lives better
