As you may know I imported these guns for awhile. I only imported the deluxe grade which had a silver receiver with scroll engraving.

You are missing a barrel band that goes on the front end

John my instuctions show no barrel band. It shows the gun on the front cover very clearly with no band. I believ the early ones did not come with one.

I need a part about like that to fix my screen door. Anybody know where I can get one?

Mark do you use it? What's the recoil like?

Mike, there's normally a gizmo that ties the muzzles together but I don't see one with your gun. Is It under the forearm maybe?

The guns have been produced for many years, and by more than one manufacturer-a few were built in Czechoslovakia. Anyway, SOME have the barrel band at the front and some do not. SOME had a plastic barrel band, which, has been happily discontinued. You can look at Roger Barlow's photos of his guns to discover this for yourself.
You either need a lightweight 12, with two shots on tap, or, you don't. I'd use this before I used a Winchester model 24. Especially if I ever get my chance at Himalayan snowcock, and I 'gotta lug my gear and my gun at the same time.
What is recoil like? Here's a hint-look at the recoil pad and the cushion behind the trigger. Both were attempts to make the recoil managable for some poor soul. Some of todays low noise and recoil stuff might make it tolerable. But, it is what it is, and that will never be a "100 rounds of skeet at the club gun".
Good luck on selling it, by the way. You are a bit out of your market. You knew that.

I believe that my neighbor Roger Barlow commented on the separated and unsupported barrels, but didn't say that it was an unacceptable feature. A plastic barrel hanger for the field wouldn't be too bad an accessory. Today, we are intelligent enough to load shells that would be acceptable for this gun. Send it to me. It has real character. I will take it to the Vintagers as a counterculture exhibit.
