Got into buying, not really collecting pocket watches a few years ago for a short while. Yes, there is a massive "blue book" equivalent for pocket and wrist watches out. Bottom line: unless you have a very unusual movement with many complications, few or none of which were ever Made in the USA, you have something that is about worth the gold in the case (hopefully 18K!). Better are railroad watches like the Illinois Bunn Special that actually keep brilliant time. IN any case, the NAWCC (National Assn. of Watch and Clock Collectors) with website above is the serious organization in the field. Luck, but don't hold your breath...
