Today, I tried for the last time to shoot my Miroku Model 500. I have tried several times to shoot this, because I thought it would be a nice gun to put in the trunk and have it for all around shooting. But it just doesn't work for me. The concaved rib that is sunken down below the height of the barrels just doesn't work. Plus, the drop at the comb is so much that it doesn't fit me right either. I have to slide the darn thing down on my shoulder to see over the receiver and see the front bead. Then I start flinching so bad that it isn't funny. After a round of skeet today, and after trying to shoot it several times, it just doesn't work. I have to give it up with this gun. What a mess. I really wanted to make this work because it could be a nice gun. Looks good with the leather pad I put on it, too. Oh well. Better luck on the next one.
