Thanks for the great response folks. Jim/Tim, you are correct, it is a double trigger gun with intercepting sears. I have seen doubling before when someone has worked the trigger too much on a single trigger gun, but not a double (although I have heard of rare wearing issues). PJ's advice on the pin travel is something I will investigate. I have not noticed that, but I haven't been looking for it either. I am inclined to agree with the lighter load solution as it is a fairly new gun with little wear and does well with lesser loads. If you use the 1:96 rule I should stick with the lighter loads. With the traditional stock e.g. no recoil pad, there is a lot of physical movement and internal shock with the heavy loads.
