Mike
The children of Samuel G. and Lillian Wright were named Vera, Eileen and Donald B. according to the 1932 passenger manifest. It seems that you're hot on the trail.
By the way, Nigel Brown's "British Gunmakers" lists about 10 Wright's involved in the gunmaking trade in London and another 28 in the provinces includng Birmingham during the 19th and 20th centuries. As you know sons often pursued the trade of their fathers. One of names in the London trade is John Richard Wright at 10 Carton St, London between 1920 and 1924. This could be your man before he came to America.
Was it Hoffman Arms that was in Ohio and later moved to Oklahoma? I gotta find my copy of your book.
