This gun falls in the serial range of 19501-20000 which is listed as Rifles, Guns, Hammer guns, single guns. date range is 1895 -1904
Post 1894 This gun was a No.3 or c grade back action hammerless gun, the "Dominion" moniker didn't arrive until the 30's. You can call H&H in london and request a letter, they charge $50.00 here in the US, I don't know what they charge in the UK though.
The gun falls after the first factory being built in 1893, So it may very well have been finished at Holland's after being bought "in the white" from Scott. A lot of people contend that Holland bought completely finished guns from Scott's, I agree during the pre factory time frame only, in other words why would Holland's have built a state of the art factory if they were going to bring in "finished" guns with their name on them?
The only reason I can think of is order volume. Even if it was a finished Scott gun, Holland would not have put his name on it if it wasn't of the quality he expected.
If you have bought this gun or you are going to, I highly suggest buying Donald's book as well.
Didn't mean to ramble on, I get excited talking about early H&H guns.
