I was told that the action could very well have come from Webley & Scott since there were only about 3 or 4 companies at that time making the boxlock actions but the hand fitting and finish of the Churchill guns is well above the finished quality of a Webley & Scott.The gun weighs 5 lb 6 OZ and balances really well. Asking price for a Webley & Scott Model 700 20 bore with 28" barrels is $5900.
