RWTF.....it is just the fact that the original listing does not disclose these dents...and pushing was necessary to see this problem via the pictures the seller emailed me....he said a 'few' dents and the picture disclosed dents from the rear of the lock plate wood swell (cheeks), through the checkering to about four inches behind the checkering....yes, they could be repaired-- (Titanic steam boiler)--as with anything and re-checkered....but at 2k.....it just doesn't feel right......I don't like doing business when a full disclosure is not forthcoming.....who knows, could be more 'unknown' issues as well.....at fifteen hundred, I would think about it, but I'm not going to re-do it and pay 2k....and I do all my own work, rust, case, wood etc...........here's the most recent one of my LC's that I refinished, had to do all the wood on this one, 3 steel pins, epoxied etc., just a few weeks back .....1924 lettered gun.....R frame....30" F/F - ivory.....
