I once passed on buying a sidelock, and days later thought about it and realised it was a bargain and I should have bought it. Telephoned the vendor only to find it had been sold.
A month later on the 25th December I unwrapped a gift from my wife, yes, there it lay. I have loved and cherished both ever since and that was thirty years ago. Sadly my marriage ended in divorce, but now during my time of need my ex wife is there to care for me.I guess I am lucky that I seem to get two chances at most things.
