During the 1970,s Churchill boxlocks were made by the by the old established Birmingham firm of S.Wright & Co;.I had the privelege of spending time in this facility in company with late Mr D.A.Masters, of Churchills. Harris and Sheldon,owned Churchills, Wright,s and Webley and Scott at that time. I can attest to the fact that the Churchill guns were not at that time, made in the Webley and Scott plant.It is very likely that basic production of barrels and action fogings were supplied by Webley and Scott
