The target guns I shoot have single triggers, the field SxS guns have double triggers and I seem (after 55 years) to be able to find the correct trigger for the situation when hunting. However the question was favorite single trigger. I think the answers will boil down to which one you became accustomed to. The Krieghoff model 32 with a selector lever inside the trigger guard works for me on target shooting as it is easy to operate and not integrated with anything else like the safety button - therefore it stays where I put it until I decide to change it. My other gun, a B. Rizzini has a selector on the safety slide and I sometimes inadvertently move it when pushing the safety off or handling the gun.
