One of my friends had very close connections with one PD and one officer who was in charge for picking up illegal guns and guns people just wanted to leave at PD forever. According to the law all these guns have to be destroyed. My friend couldn't take barrels or receivers, but he could take locks, springs, screws, wood etc. Finnally he collected a lot of different gun gizmos and some of them were real tresure.
