I attended my first ACGG/FEGA show in 1995. Been hooked ever since! I was elected to the ACGG in 2002. I found that gunmakers are real human beings with a desire to create. The clients can also help creativity to happen. The ideas of the other craftsmen/women allow for greater stimulous for both client and crafter to push the level of their ability higher. Hope to see you at the show.

Hey Dennis:
The positive aspects of a collaborative effort between client and craftsman is somethig I believe strongly. While I don't have any experience with this in guns, I do with fly rods. Through some serious searching I bonded with a crafstman that helped me to realize several custom fly rods that neither of us would have achieved without the input of the other. In the end, I'd never sell/trade these custom sticks for the world - they have part of me and the craftsman in them. I suspect it will be the same for me with a custom sxs project.
Thanks and hope to see you at the show;
