I collect guns, she collects American pottery. Not sure it's worth the price but interesting nonetheless...

Vey much overpriced. It looks like a standard finish piece with a slightly unusual dog painting (they usually are flowers, indians, drunken monks, etc). The dediciation looks like an after-market addidition which is not uncommon. Normally this form and finish would be worth $400-$600 retail with the higher end for Indians and the top factory painters signature.
It could go for twice that estimate or more (maybe even in the range they want) IF they have rock-solid supportng factory provenance for it.

At my usual estate sales this would sell for about 100>300$ at the most.

FWIW

They bring a lot more with the Hunter Arms connection, I've seen them bring twice that price.

This last one- of the Belton Setter on point might be an Osthaus or a Tracy painting- beautiful--a classic-like a LC Smith shotgun!!

If someone is willing to post a photo I'll show ya'll what every real collector should have.

Who knew, GregSy's a health nut? One of those old time fat jiggling machines like Moe, Larry & Curly used, more interesting than a Parker coffee grinder...
