I see an Army & Navy grade three SLE in restored condition. A&N is a Brand Value level three name (BV3). The Original Quality grade is three (OQ3). Restored is Current Condition level five (CC5). BV3-OQ3-CC5 = $3150 in my charts. Now, this is a value, and not a price. Value is for a general population and price is for a specific gun. There seems to be a developing class of guns that are near "remanufactured." I am yet to see enough of them sell to have a good idea of how they will ultimately be priced.

I have no issue with WLM's price. You would need to have an in detail discussion to determine exactly what "Total restoration" means relative to this gun. Another benchmark would be to consider this gun if it were in pristine condition: BV3-OQ3-CC1 = $10,450. The price quoted would require a BV3-OQ3-CC2.2; OQ2.2 would be just under "Limited use - slight finish wear, little shooting."

Hope that helps some.
