I don't have photo's but I'll try to describe a Model 21 I once owned that had the action re-shaped. The work was done by the late Don Allen of Dakota Arms. The gun started as a 20 bore 28" barrel. Don removed the reinforcing bosses on the action, scalloped the back of the action, shortened and re-shaped the top tang, re-shaped the balls of the action and created a bead that ran around the radius of the balls of the action. It was then re-stocked in a stunning piece of NZ walnut and checkerec 32 LPI in a borderless pattern. It was my favorite grouse gun for a number of years and then one sad day I placed it on the top of my pick-up topper, forgot it there, drove away and lost it.
