I had asked for a Pigeon Grade 21 as close to original and they really delivered. I can't wait to receive and handle the gun, but they sent me some pictures. It is 32" bbls, a straight grip and slim BT FE. Should make a nice clays/waterfowl gun to compliment my Fox. [img] [/img] [img] [/img] [img] [/img] [img] [/img] [img] [/img]

That is absolutely beautiful! In the great tradition of Winchester. The Pigeon Grade engraving was/is the best of the old patterns. Did you have them stamp it with the Winchester name?

Oh my gosh, Kevin, those sixteen inch stocks are so hard to shoot. However, I'll give it a try. Murphy

Too bad about the wood That left side of the stock looks sweet(they both do),what a feather pattern. Nice gun,a real keeper.

I too bought a CSMC Mod 21 [Sept 2007],a Grand American with IN MEMORY OF KOKO on the rib. Koko was the absolute best of all the dogs I've had and that includes a few Elhew pointers.
I received it on a Friday [Sept 2008], only three months later than expected, shot it on Sunday and shipped it back on Monday. They got it back on Tuesday and I got it back on, I think, Thursday.
I sent it back because it doubled! And if you fired the right barrel first, the left barrel would not fire. What puzzled me was when I spoke with Lou, he asked me if I had removed the stock.I had not.
The answer came when I read Shotgun Technicana. Unlike the English best guns which have a shoulder on the screws to prevent over tightening,Mod 21s can be over tightened and that can cause problems. You have been warned !
Other than the above the gun has shot without problems. Koko would be proud.

A wonderful 21 Kevin. Hard to believe anything else could match the beauty of your Fox . . . but it looks like that 21 does!

A Win 21 with 'KOKO' engraved on it will be a gun you will enjoy your entire life, then your ancestors thereafter.
