I like the Galco pads, have them in different sizes. I think Midway has them. You can buy direct, too, USgalco.com. Attachment is velcro, which I'm not too crazy about. But they work well, and look pretty good.

The Galco Slip-on pads are the Cadillac of slip-on pads--and priced like it. A more reasonably priced quality alternative to the Galco is Galazan's Gamekeeper slip-on pads. The leather on the Gamekeeper pad is a darker brown color, a little stiffer and not as pliable as the Galco. I have a couple from both manufacturers and each serve their purpose. What I like about both is that when installed the velcro is covered by the leather flap--unlike others. Either one adds about 5/8" to LOP:

I bought a Galco and fit a 1/2 inch piece of pin on the inside for a bit longer LOP. It workes well.

I have a medium and small Pachmayr leather slip ons with the velcro flap. Two tone brown for $29 at Cableas. Satisfied, but son in law doesn't like them for going through brush when grouse hunting.

I have some slip on pads by Kick Killer, Two tone leather pads, some are velcro some lace on. I have had them a number of years and have dyed some a dark brown to complement some older classic shotguns. They are available at Cabelas and run about $35.

I like slip-on pads, having what my gunsmith calls "ape-hanger" arms, but not liking to modify original stocks (for several reasons, some not having to do with conservation and purism....more with plain cheapness). The velcro attached are best so you can pull them off after hunting and get the weed seeds, bugs, and moisture (what we call sweat in CA) out. If you hunt with the kind of low-lifes I do, you will have to endure slurs about "butt condoms" and such. Ignore them; they know not.
