You describe the pair I did well. The twists were about an inch wide and flat. The inner parts were like flowing rather than wire twist. I believe this was a fine gun as the London twist on the top rib was scribed in gold and a thin line of gold was next to the top rib and tube for the full length. I did not see the rest of the gun. Now I wish I had pictures of them. They were far from my finest so I didn't bother. My friend who I did them for was very happy but in my head I have done much better.
