I was hunting (shooting) doves in Yuma AZ a couple of years ago with my then brand new 2" 12 bore Arrieta. I had picked up every hull after the hunt and stuffed them in my bird bag. The warden approached my truck and asked to see my birds and gun. I immediately complied. He counted birds, looked at my gun and proceeded to get out his ticket book. I asked him what I was getting a ticket for? His reply was "littering". "He stated that he has seen the area littered with 12 gauge hulls and I was the only one in the field shooting a 12 bore". I smiled and showed him the barrels of my 2" gun "for 2 inch shells only" was written in gold on the tubes. He looked at the gun and my short 2" english shell for a minute. He then replied, "I haven't seen a single little stubby shell in the field thanks for cleaning up after yourself".
I might add he thought I was crazy for owning a gun that only shot short shells.
