I have accumulated several sights over the years. All but one are intended to be mounted on a 1903 Springfield.
I have posted pictures of two sights. The first is a sight for a flat-sided rifle (not Michael's Hoffman). The other is a safety sight for a 1903 Springfield.
One of the sights appears to have been almost entirely made with hand held tools. It was cut from a block of steel with a file. I refer to this sight as a result of long cold winter.
The other sight replaces the safety lever of a 1903 Springfield rifle. This on was made on the best equipment of the time and by a highly skilled machinist.
If you are wondering why I posted these pictures and this little blurb the answer is that I am trying encourage everyone to post pictures of some of that neat stuff that is hiding under your work bench.
