A good friend of mine's Daddy had a German 3-barrel 12ga he brought back from WW-2. He shot it regularly. The barrels each had different chokes. There was an article in DGJ a couple of years ago on that gun, written by the father, but published several years after both their deaths...Geo

Buy a drilling, it's three barreled gun also and most important very effective. If you want three smooth barrels look for drilling with overbored rifled barrel. Guess there are must be some of such drillings in UK and most important these guns are worth 2 times less, then the same drillings in original condition

When the Wheeling WV Cabelas opened they had in the gun library a 3 barreled shotgun made in Wheeling. Name escapes me right now.

There was a gun company called the "Three Barrel Gun Company" which apparently was located in Wheeling. May have been related to the Hollenbeck Company. Didn't last long. Gone by the 20's.

Donnie, my friend was an only child, and when he died, he left young children, so I'm sure the gun stayed in the family. The family is still around, but I'd hope the children's mama would hold on to the guns till my friend's children are grown. Come to think of it, they may BE grown by now. I don't, though, know for sure where the tribarrel is. It is set up like the Fansoj shown above, but it was not a sidelock to the best of my recollection.

If you wish to contact me by email (in my profile) I will share the contact information, but whould prefer not to get involved in any transaction you may be able to work out...Geo
