Before you use the Krag stock for firewood can you show me a picture of the buttplate, the front side, or is it a commercial of some kind?
For the lack of better wording there is a bit of misdirection that goes on from time to time. With every maker there is always some little thing that I have found about their work that will tell ME when I'm looking at something that it's the real deal. I think every S.R. Griffin rifle that I have looked at under the buttplate has what I have been calling "Center Drill" holes, just like the one(s)in the picture.
