I have done the acetone treatment to stocks before and have had great luck, till now! 2 soakings, 2nd one the acetone was still quite clear after 2 weeks. still have what appears to be oil stains in the wrist area following the grain. Maybe a stain or something rubbed on when there was some finish missing? I have to glass a crack and need it clean. If acetone won't touch it I would think it would be ok to glass after it sits awhile. Anybody run in to a problem like this? Thanks Bob
