I was in a gun shop today and saw they had some 471 Silver Hawks. So, I asked to look at a 20g 28", straight stocked gun. The clerk handed me a beautiful specimen. The wood was really a great, marbled piece. I also noted it did not have excessively proud wood above the metal. In fact, it seemed very well fit all around. The long triggerguard tang was especially well fit.

However, the first thing I noticed was that the gun felt somewhat heavy for a 20g. Probably somewhere around 7lbs. This seems to be about 1lb heavier than the Beretta website claims at 5.9lbs. Anyone have any firsthand knowledge on the actual weight
