The reason I thought that this gun was built by Webley & Scott was because I saw this article:
http://doublegunshop.com/ryder1.htmAnd it says "Many of the better names in London used Birmingham as a factory as well. Churchill's "Crown" grade guns were built by Webley & Scott, as were Cogswell & Harrison's "Konor" guns."
I could well be mistaken and C&H could have built this gun in London, which would make it even more attractive.
