When I purchased mine, I called Berreta and questioned them regarding this issue. It's not that the gun you looked at is heavier than any other 471, they just aren't light guns. The 20ga. frame is so large, I thought it was a 12ga. It also has very thick barrels...nothing subtle about this baby.
