What sort of feedback are you looking for?
"Is it a nice gun?"
"Did I get a good deal?"
"Has it been messed with?"

IMHO these are qustions that would have best been asked prior to purchase.

Gentle down a notch.LOL The fellow is new and needs to be welcomed, kindly. There is plenty of time to cane him !!!LOL

I do not know the first thing about your new purchase. I do know that the pride of purchase, by a new SXS guy, can cause heart quivers when he gets it home and shows it to the "little" lady.

Let's band with our new member and hold his hand with as much sound advice as we can.

OK ???

Welcome !!!

Best,
John

If they made more than one and sold more than one, they probably sold one to someone else on this board who's more than willing to chew the fat with you about your Zoli. Post a photo and tell us about it.

The Antonio Zoli firm of Gardone Valtrompia Italy makes a fine line of shotguns from handmade one-off sxs to quality semi-mass produced over/unders. The Ariete is very similar to the sxs model which Antonio Zoli built for Beretta as subcontractors and which was marketed in the US as a Beretta Onyx.

There was an earlier string discussing Zoli shotguns which you might find of interest.

Interestingly, 5 of the first 7 search results using "Zoli Ariete" got responses in the Cyrillic alphabet, suggesting that they are popular in eastern Europe and Russia.

I've owned an Antonio Zoli 20 gauge from the late 60s or early 70s for about 30 years. It was one of the Dakin Arms imports and built for what was then the American market - single trigger, vent rib, beavertail forend, semi-pistol grip. Not exactly a classic styling, but it breaks clay birds and kills preserve pheasants with consistency.

THis is marked 3" mag. 28" tubes marked mod. and full a dime will not go through the mod. barrel, single trigger, dosn't have an auto safty but does have a recoil pad. around 95% wood and metal, I shoot mostly 7/8 reloads of 8's no mal functions yet. I can't find much info on the net shoot mostly 16 yds. and universal trench just seems toget the job done. The blue looks like black chrome.
